Editing a Non-Work Exception

To edit a non-work exception for a staff member in Projectal, follow these steps:


  1. Go to the Staff Planner screen by clicking Planner on the left sidebar and then clicking Staff Planner.
  2. Select the non-work exception in the Staff Planner and click the Edit button on the Staff Planner screen toolbar, or simply double click on the activity in the Staff Planner.
  3. This will display the Edit Exception screen.


Tip: You can also edit exceptions for staff by using the Edit Staff screen.





Name

Enter a name for the exception.


Description

Enter an optional description for the exception


ID

Enter an optional identifier for the exception.


Start Date

Enter the start date for the exception.


End Date

Enter the end date for the exception.


Non working / Working

Select whether the exception is a non-working exception (e.g. a holiday) or a working exception (e.g. working on a weekend or national holiday or public holiday).


From

Enter the starting time for the exception.


To

Enter the finishing time for the exception.


Notes

Click the Add Notes button to enter optional notes about the exception.
