Click the Grouping menu on the Staff Planner toolbar to group by the following:
- Company
- Location
- Status
- Project
- Department
- Skill
- Staff
- Generic Staff
Company
Click Company on the Grouping menu to group your staff into the companies that the belong to. You can have multiple companies defined in Projectal and have staff employed in these companies.
Example: Your company may be a group company and have subsidiaries. This grouping lets you see your staff in those subsidiary companies.
Example: You may complete projects with partner companies. This grouping lets you see staff in your company separately from the staff in your partner companies.
Location
Click Location on the Grouping menu to group your staff into the locations that they have been assigned to in their staff records. This lets you see your teams across your various offices around the world.
Example: Your company may have offices in Los Angeles, Vancouver and London. This grouping lets you see your staff in each office location.
Status
Click Status on the Grouping menu to group your staff into the status of projects.
Example: You may have various projects that are completed, currently in progress and are in bidding. This grouping lets you see the staff that are assigned to tasks in these projects using the project status.
Project
Click Project on the Grouping menu to group all your staff into the projects that they have been assigned to. This lets you see your project teams.
Example: Your company has 5 projects running right now. This grouping lets you see the list of staff that are assigned to tasks on each of these projects.
Department
Click Department on the Grouping menu to group all your staff into their departments. This lets you quickly see each department and the team within the department.
Example: Your company has 15 departments and staff belong to these departments. This grouping lets you see the list of departments with teh staff under each department.
Skill
Click Skill on the Grouping menu to group all your staff by their skills. This lets you quickly see each skill and the staff that have those skills.
Example: Your staff have 32 different skill types and each staff has one or many of them. This grouping lists all the skills and the staff that have those skills under them.
Staff
Click Staff to hide or show staff in the Staff Planner.
Generic Staff
Click Generic Staff to hide or show generic staff in the Staff Planner.
