To configure your Kanban board, click the Kanban Board Settings button in the top right corner of your Kanban board.
Kanban Board Name
Enter a name for the Kanban board. This appears at the top of the Kanban board.
Sort By
Select the data field to sort the cards in each column.
Direction
Select the sorting direction for the cards in each column.
Color
Click on the color swatch to set the color for the column.
Card Limit
Enter the maximum number of cards (or tasks) permitted in the column. When the maximum is exceeded, then Projectal will alert the user by changing the color of the column.
Task progress when moved to this stage
Enter a percentage (%) value the the task's Progress value should be set to when a card (or task) is move in to this column.
Example: For the Completed column, you may want to set a task's progress value to automatically be set to 100%.
Display stage
Click on this switch to show or hide the task stage as a column in the Kanban board.
Default Settings
Click this button to return back to Projectal's default settings for the Kanban board.
Customizing Cards
On your Kanban board, click the Display Settings button in the top right corner to display a popup menu. This lets you hide or show the various key information on the Kanban cards.
Coloring Cards
On your Kanban board, click the Color By button in the top right corner to display a popup menu. This lets choose the data attribute that you wish to color the Kanban cards. The color designated by the data attribute will be used to color each card for easier identification of tasks.
Example: You may want color the Kanban cards according to skills required so you can see which cards (or tasks) require various skills.
