Public Data Views

Public data views are available to all users of Projectal in your company.  They are listed on the left sidebar under Public Data Views.

To create a public data view, click the Add Public Data View button next to Public Data Views on the left sidebar.

Tip: Create public data views so that all staff in your company can see reports that help everyone understand how the company is performing.

Private Data Views

Private data views are only available to you and any other users of Projectal that you wish to share them with.  They are listed on the left sidebar under Data Views.

To create a private data view, click the Add Data View button next to Data Views on the left sidebar.

Tip: Create private data views when you want to see data that helps you with your role and responsibilities within the company.  Keep them private if they contain sensitive information such as financials.
