Managing Resources

The Resources screen is where you can add, edit, duplicate, remove, import and export resources in Projectal.


Getting to the Resources screen

  1. Go to the Management screen by clicking Management on the left sidebar.
  2. Click the Resources button to display the Resources screen.

The Resources screen toolbar has the following buttons:

  • Add - to add a new resource
  • Edit - to edit the selected resource 
  • Delete - to delete the selected resources
  • Duplicate - to make a copy of the selected resource 
  • Import - to import a list of resources from a spreadsheet or PDF file
  • Export - to export the list of resources to an Excel spreadsheet (XLS) file
  • Color By - to color the list of resources by the designated color of a selected data attribute


Editing Resources


Double-click on a cell to edit a value for the resource.


Select a cell and copy (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) the values into another cell. 


Select a cell and drag the right side corner of the cell to fill down  the value into other cells.


Select a cell and press the DEL key to delete the value from the cell.


Tip: Enter text into the Filter edit box and click the Search button to find specific resources.


Tip: Click on the Options menu in the column headers to choose which columns you wish to hide or show in the list. 


Tip: Click on a column header to sort the list ascending or descending.
