What are Customers in Projectal?

Modified on Fri, 05 Aug 2022 at 04:45 PM

Customers (or clients) are the organizations that you do business with and that you create projects for.

You can enter as many customers as you like in Projectal.

You can store customer address information, websites, socials and personnel details of contacts with the customer in Projectal so that you use Projectal as you centralized store of information about your customers.

You can upload and attach files into your customer information within Projectal - such as NDAs, agreements, purchase orders and more.

You can add notes to your customer information within Projectal - such as when there is a change of contract conditions or a change contact personnel at your customer.

After adding a customer into Projectal, you can add that customer into projects so that you always know which projects belong each particular customer.

Syncing with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools

If your company uses a CRM tool and it already contains your customer details, then it may be best for Projectal to automatically sync the customer details from your CRM tool.  This eliminates double entry and keeps Projectal up-to-date whenever changes are made in your CRM tool.

Using the Projectal API, webhooks and Python library, connectors can be created to sync CRM data from popular CRM tools into Projectal.  Contact the Projectal Support team to inquire about their library of pre-built connectors that are available to you as a Projectal customer.  Or, the Projectal Support team can assist to get you up and running with a new connector for your CRM tool.
