What are Locations in Projectal?

Modified on Sat, 8 Oct, 2022 at 6:02 PM

Locations are the physical addresses of your company's offices, your staff work addresses and your customers' addresses.

Locations let you know where your offices, staff and customers are all located around the world.

Location Calendar

Locations also let you define a calendar so you can set the working week and the exceptions for that particular location.

Exceptions are the non-working days (and sometimes working days) particular to that location.  For example, non-working days are typically the city holidays, state holidays, federal holidays, national holidays, public holidays or bank holidays for that location.

All staff in Projectal that use that location will automatically inherit the calendar from that location as their base calender.  This is a very convenient way to manage your staff at their various locations and make sure you know when they are available or not available for working on tasks within projects.
