The Users screen is where you can add, edit, duplicate and remove users in Projectal.
Getting to the Users screen
- Go to the Management screen by clicking Management on the left sidebar.
- Click the Users button to display the Users screen.
Users screen toolbar
The Users screen toolbar has the following buttons:
- Add - to add a new user
- Edit - to edit the selected user
- Delete - to delete the selected users
- Duplicate - to make a copy of the selected user
- Synchronize LDAP / AD - to synchronize users from your company's LDAP / AD service into Projectal.
- Quick Search - to search and filter the list of users using some text
- Filter - to search and filter the list of users using fields
- User Views - to save and recall your favorite user views on this screen
- Color By - to color the list of users by the designated color of a selected data attribute
Editing Users
Double-click on a cell to edit a value for the user.
Select a cell and copy (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) the values into another cell.
Select a cell and drag the right side corner of the cell to fill down the value into other cells.
Select a cell and press the DEL key to delete the value from the cell.
Tip: The Synchronize LDAP / AD button is only displayed if your company's LDAP / AD services have been connected into Projectal, and if your user account has the permission set to synchronize LDAP / AD.
Tip: Enter text into the Filter edit box and click the Search button to find specific users.
Tip: Click on the Options menu in the column headers to choose which columns you wish to hide or show in the list.
Tip: Click on a column header to sort the list ascending or descending.
