Projectal includes a Time Machine that records and saves all changes made by all users. These historical data points are very useful to see and understand what has changed, when the changes were made and who made the changes.
Example: A project has suddenly become over budget. It was on budget 2 months ago. You want to go back in time to see what happened two months ago to understand why the project is now over budget.
Example: The department you manage now has 30 staff and an annual budget of $500K. You want to know how many staff the department had and its costs from 12 months ago.
Example: You know how many tasks your team are completing on a monthly basis for this year. You want to go back in time for the past 2 years and compare these completion rates to check if your team is improving its performance.
When going back in time using the Time Machine, you can only view past data and cannot edit or delete data.
You can use Labels to describe certain moments in time for easy recall, so you do not have to remember specific dates.
