To edit a stage into Projectal, follow these steps:
- Go to the Management screen by clicking Management on the left sidebar.
- Click the Project Stages button to display the Project Stages screen.
- Click the Edit button on the Project Stages screen toolbar.
- This will display the Edit Stage screen.
Lock
Turn on the Lock switch to stop any editing by users. Turn off the Lock switch to allow editing by users.
Name
Enter the name of the stage.
ID
Enter an optional identifier of the stage. It could be the short code for the stage.
Description
Enter a description for the stage.
Tags
Select tags or type in tags to help categorize or classify the stage. There are two ways to add tags:
- Click the Add Tag button to display the Tags screen. Select tags from your existing collection of tags and they will be associated with the stage.
- Click the Add Entity Tag button to associate the stage with only certain entities - such as projects, bookings, activities and tasks.
- Or, click inside the Tags editor and a new empty tag will be displayed. Type in the name of the tag you want and press Enter to save the new tag. As you type your tag name, a list of existing tags that partially match the typed text will be displayed and you can choose one of them for faster tag entry.
Color
Click the color swatch to set or clear the color for the stage. The color can used in other screens to highlight items by stage.
Notes
Click the Add Note button to add a note about the stage. You can add as many notes as you like. They are listed chronologically.
