To add a stage into Projectal, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Management screen by clicking Management on the left sidebar.
  2. Click the Stages button to display the Project Stages screen.
  3. Click the Add button on the Project Stages screen toolbar.
  4. This will display the New Stage screen.

Name

Enter the name of the stage.

ID

Description

Tags

Select tags or type in tags to help categorize or classify the stage.   There are two ways to add tags:

  • Click the Add Tag button to display the Tags screen.  Select tags from your existing collection of tags and they will be associated with the stage.
  • Click the Add Entity Tag button to associate the stage with only certain entities - such as projects, bookings, activities and tasks.
  • Or, click inside the Tags editor and a new empty tag will be displayed.  Type in the name of the tag you want and press Enter to save the new tag. As you type your tag name, a list of existing tags that partially match the typed text will be displayed and you can choose one of them for faster tag entry.

Tip: If you wish to create a set of stages for bookings, then add the BOOKING tag to the relevant stages.

Tip: If you wish to create a set of stages for projects, then add the PROJECT tag to the relevant stages.
