Spreadsheet Mode Cells

When a task cell has a value inside it, then there is an associated task with the name that is represented in the task's column header.

When a task cell is blank but has a small triangle in the top right side corner, then there is an associated task with the name that is represented in the task's column header.  The small triangle tells you that there is a task, but it does not have a value for the displayed property.

When a task cell is blank with no small triangle in the top right side corner, then there is no task.
