Adding a Rebate

To add a rebate into Projectal, follow these steps:


  1. Go to the Management screen by clicking Management on the left sidebar.
  2. Click the Rebates button to display the Rebates screen.
  3. Click the Add button on the Rebates screen toolbar.
  4. This will display the New Rebate screen.




Name

Enter the name of the rebate.


ID

Enter an optional identifier of the rebate.  It could be the government code for the rebate.


Rebate (%)

Enter the percentage value of the rebate.


For example, if your company has an office in a city that has access to a 20% tax incentive for your customers, then you would enter 20 as the rebate (%) value.


Color

Click the color swatch to set or clear the color for the rebate.  The color can used in other screens to highlight items by rebate.


Tags

Select tags or type in tags to help categorize or classify the rebate.   There are two ways to add tags:

  • Click the Add Tag button to display the Tags screen.  Select tags from your existing collection of tags and they will be associated with the rebate.
  • Or, click inside the Tags editor and a new empty tag will be displayed.  Type in the name of the tag you want and press Enter to save the new tag. As you type your tag name, a list of existing tags that partially match the typed text will be displayed and you can choose one of them for faster tag entry.
